Making a sustainable income online is about as hard as opening a traditional business. A person must be very self motivated, and be able to get themselves over and beyond the pitfalls that are thrown in their way, most of the time without any help, and all by themselves. Working from home is a very tiresome and often un-rewarding experience. If a person is to make an income online, then he or she has to have a lot of resillance and backbone, if it were easy then everybody would do it, right. You have to set yourself above and beyond other marketers by making yourself impressionable, and somehow more memorable than the rest of your competition.
Making a memorable impression is a must if you want your business to stand out in the crowd. It does not matter whether your business is a ma and pa , brick and mortar type of business, or if you are making your income online. Standing out and making an impression is of upmost importance when competing in the business world.
Most people that make their income online with a program try to come across as a bigshot, a high roller, as someone that is doing great and doesn't have a problem in the world. Case in point, I watched a you tube video entitled making an income online. The gentleman in this video was wearing a suite that was two sizes to big, he had some form of diplomas on the wall behind him, and was reading from a script that made him come across very cold and monotone. Why do people have to try and play the big shot when promoting a program online? I honestly think that it works against them in most cases. No one wants some stuffy, pompus individual telling them how good they are doing , they want to see an average " joe" trying to make it.
My own personal marketing videos are as down to earth as they can possibly be. I personally do not dress up in a suit , nor do I go off of a script. I have a general subject idea, and a low key setting,:

Earning An Income Online Can Be Hard And Frustating
When an individual decides to use the paid forms of marketing and advertising, they are usually nickled and dimed to death, from all the extra expenses. They are normally spending fair amounts of money on pay per clicks, and if they aren't taught properly how utilize their ppc campaigns, the cost can get out of hand very quickly. Placing small ads in local papers and magazines can begin to add up quite quickly also. Most people come to the realization that making an income online isn't nearly as easy as they thought it would be , and simply give up, basically throwing away any money they spent to get into the program that they thought would bring them riches.
If a person is planning on getting into an internet type of business, they should first do their due diligance on the program, and try to find a mentor that will help them every step of the way, and not leave them hanging after the person has paid to get into the business, and quite honestly that alone can be a pretty tough task. Making an income online is no different than starting a traditional business in that it will require a good amount of your spare time and also require determined effort in order to see your project through to the end. Lastly, just as a brick and mortar requires it, a home based business will also:

Using The Six Week Rule To Make An Income Online
I'm going to start off with "I have some bad news and I have some good news about you and your future income." The good news is you will have fewer competitors next year because many of them will be out of business. The bad news is you might be one of those out of business.
The headlines are saying "businesses are struggling." I opened the newspaper and said to my business partner " I can tell you who will still be in business next year." I pointed to a full page advertisement by a local appliance store." I bet you this business will still be here next year and here's why, because this business is advertising more aggressively than their competitors!
I've written about the importance of advertising and promotion. I've followed the rich people's words of advice, when the market gets bad you must advertise. Many people listen to their accountants and slack off,cut back, or remain the same. The truth is you need to advertise, and promote even more aggressively. When there's a dropoff the worst thing you can do is to cut back on advertising and promoting your business. It's now more important than ever to be aggressive about promoting your business for a bigger income.
Promotion is a six week cycle. That means if

Give Yourself A Pay Raise With An Online Income
Have you ever considered making a second income online from home to supplement your full time job's income? If you haven't, believe it or not, right now is the perfect time to give yourself a raise with a part time internet business. There is a catch to this though, if you are going to attempt this, you must first and foremost treat it as a business and not a hobby. Hobbies cost you money, a business makes you an income.
As we all know, in this day and age, there is no job security, and pay raises are very few and far between. But consider this, over forty million people daily, are searching for an online business opportunity between the yahoo and google search engines. That is right , over forty million people per day! Why not take advantage of this in the way of your own online business.

Using Grass Roots Marketing To Boost Your Income Online
There is a mainly forgotten marketing technique out there that people have overlooked in this high tech day in age, It is commonly known as "grassroots" advertising. I believe that we, as small business entrepreneurs, have lost sight of this technique to help us make our income online. We are always thinking along the lines of online advertising in the forms of you-tube, twitter, facebook, opt-ins, article writing, pay-per clicks, etc..., but there is also some fantastic, inexpensive ways to advertise the old fashioned way.
Business cards are a very effective way to get your business looked at, even if it is an online type of business. When I first started my online business,

The Small Costs To Making An Income Online
How much money have you spent on your current online program? No, I don't just mean how much did it cost you to get involved in the sign-up process, my question is does a person really see how much their internet business is actually costing them on a weekly, or monthly basis? There are probably not a lot of people out there that actually do have a handle on their outgoing expenses attributed with their online business.
Making an income online is going to cost a person some money to get up and running. In past articles I have said that a person does not have to spend large amounts of money for advertising, promoting, and things of that nature. I still stand behind that and I always will, but as the old saying goes " it takes money to make money ", does play into the equation somewhat. Let me explain why you have to spend some money to make that elusive income online.
When a person begins an online, internet type business, they will normally spend around the $200 range to get into a program online. Some programs have optional training that can range from fifty dollars to two hundred dollars. Normally these training sessions are optional, but normally a person is led to believe that if they want to really jumpstart their income online, that they must purchase these training seminars. Basically they are shamed into it, and I believe most people opt in to that part of an online business.
Some people get into the pay per click part of the industry, and unfortunatly almost all do not understand how ppc's actuallly work. Therefore a lot of money can be wasted on pay per clicks, by the mis-use of their advertising campaigns. Don't get me wrong, pay per clicks do work, but a person must be very schooled on how to make an income online with them.
When a person gets serious about making an income online, and learns a little about how this industry works, they will get themselves into an auto-responder program. These programs are typically about $50 to get started and around $20 per month to maintan. Not a lot of money , but it does add up.
I could go on and on about ip hiders, magazine ads, extra phone lines, higher phone bills, stationary, computer upgrades and updates to your hardware, and much, much more, but I would like to talk to you about another factor in this equation.
How much is your time worth? How much are you worth at what you are doing to make an income online? When I first got involved with internet marketing, I would normally put in an hour or so every morning before going to work, and then fifteen minutes on my lunch break. When I got home I would immedietly get into my online business and easily put in three to five hours every night after work. Weekends I normally devoted around six hours a day minimun towards my internet business. That alone is approx. a 40 hour work week in my spare time. That is a lot of extra work as anyone would attest, and If I believed myself to be worth twenty dollars an hour , that is $800 worth of work a week , just in time spent alone.
There are many underlying costs involved with making an income online, granted a lot of them are very minimal, and some you just don't see, like your hourly wage that I just pointed out. Whether a person sees them or not, the point is that they are real, and they are there, and in order to know what your true worth is on the internet, a person has to keep tabs on the little expenses, lest they turn into bigger ones.

Do You Have What It Takes To Work From Home?
Do you have what it takes to work from home ? Making an income online is not all it is cracked up to be, but if it is done properly, it can be the most rewarding job that a person can ever have. Why doesn't everyone make their income online ? Why doesn't everybody stay at home and make their living ? I'll tell you why , and your probably not gonna like my answer. Hardly anyone works from home because it is hard, time consuming, and very, very frustrating. There, I said it , and just so you know you will only get the unvarnished truth from me in any article that I write. I have been making my income online , off and on , for almost fifteen years now , and I can honestly say that it can be very hard at times.
What makes it so hard ? The first and foremost problem that I always tell people is that they must be extremly self disciplined .
That answer usually hits people pretty hard , simply because that is a trait that almost no one posesses. In order to truly make an income online one must be able to be very strict on themselves and stay with a gameplan and schedule. A person must treat their home based business like it is a traditional job.
What does a person do at a traditional job ? You get up early, get ready, get to your job on time, do a full days work of eight to ten hours per day , then go home. What happens next ? Well you get up and do it again tomorrow, and the next day, and the next, and the next . I think you see where I'm going here. Almost no one , statistics tell us it is less than 1% of the population, can be disciplined enough to make their income from a home office. That's right, less than 1%. Quite simply, if it were easy, everybody would do it.
A person must follow the same guidlines as in a regular job. Have a gameplan for each day. Get to your home office early and on time. Give your home job a good solid seven to eight hours a day. Actually do a days work just like you were working for someone else. Work does not mean to spend time looking at youtube, facebook, looking out the window, playing with the dog, surfing the web , etc... . If a person truly wants to make a business work from home they must work it like a traditional business, and to be honest with you, almost no one can "cut the mustard" , when it comes to having the discipline needed to make an income online. Once again , if it were easy , you'd see no one driving to work in the morning.
In my fifteen years of doing this, I have seen countless numbers of people try their hand at this working from home type of business, and more than 99% of them are gone very shortly after they start. The biggest reason I have found is that they were not disciplined enough to be their own boss. Hows that for a statement. Are you disciplined enough to be your own boss ? If you are looking at getting into a business from home, you should be honest with yourself and truly ask yourself this question. There is no magic wand or perfect program out there, the one and only way to make a true income online is to be very disciplined and work very hard , even when you don't want to. People get up every morning and go to a traditional job , even when they don't want to. They go in when they are sick , when they don't feel good, when they don't want to go in , when they would just rather stay at home. People go to work everyday because their income depends on it and if a person is to be successful at home , they must adopt that same attitude.
My advice to most people whom I mentor is to give their business from home a test run first , before they quit their day job. Take a few days vacation and see how well they do. See how disciplined they are on their test run. Can they stay focused enough to work eight hours a day , with no supervision ? How do they really like trying to make that elusive income online ? Can they get a gameplan together and follow it ? What happens when they run into a stumbling block, a dead end, an unforseen problem? Most people ( if not all ) , who try it , unfortunatly don't make it. They see how hard making an income online can really be. Those people sitting on page one of google and yahoo did an immense amount of work to get there, and that is what people come to realize when they go through their test run.
I don't mean to be all gloom and doom, I just mean to be brutally honest. I want to help people avoid throwing away good money on a program that promises them internet riches with no work involved. Bottom line is that if you want to make a living from the internet, find a good honest mentor, find a realistic program, and get a game plan together, and follow it. If you treat it as a hobby, it will cost you money, if you treat it as a business, and work it as a business, it can bring you the satisfaction and income that we are all looking for in this stay at home industry.

An Income Online vs. A Traditional Business
The American Dream. Owning your own business, being your own boss, setting your own hours, taking time off whenever you want. It all sounds so wonderful, but is it really? Have you ever owned your own "brick and mortar" type business. I have, and I can tell you it is not all roses. I personally owned a small Italian food restaurant, and I never experienced any of the above perks. This was my main reason for trying to find a way to make an income online.
First off , let's talk about start up costs. Most anyone who begins a typical business, either has a large sum of money in the bank, or they take out a small business loan, or somehow procure a loan, because without a large amount of start up cash, your business will go nowhere. My small Italian food business for example , had so many underlying fees and costs that I did not anticipate that I was very quickly in the hole, as far as operating costs go. Menus to be designed and printed, advertising in penny savers, newspapers, circulars, etc... . Zoning issues, permits, parking, paying employees and putting back money for taxes. This is just barely scratching the surface of the many unforseen problems that everyone, and I do mean everyone faces when starting a brick and mortar business.
There is another huge problem, time. When you begin your business, you can tell every spare minute of your free time goodbye , and very much so in the restaurant business, you are married to your establishment. You are owner, bookkeeper, waiter, dishwasher, manager, complaints dept., product orderer, payroll, etc... . I think you see where I'm going with this, to make a success of your new business, that you also have a large amount of money invested in, you have now taken on a massive amount of priorities, not to mention a large amount of debt. Being your own boss in a traditional business isn't all that fun and pretty.
Now on the flipside, how about starting your own online business and trying to make your income online. Let me straight up tell you that the income can be far greater than a traditional business, If and only If , the person treats their online business the same way they would treat their brick and mortar business. A person should act as if they are starting a traditional business. They should act as though they have a large bank note out on their business, they should put in 6-8 hours a day , fine tuning their income online. A person needs to act as if it is their only shot at making it in business, they basically need to put forth the effort and time and determnation that they would put into their brick and mortar store.
Having said this, this is where 99.9% of all people fail with their online business, because they do not treat it like a business. What I believe is the biggest problem right out of the gate, is that people are told " Just pay your start up costs to get in, and the business is 98% automated ! Look at the top dogs pulling in six figures a month ! These people only work 2 hrs. a day and look at their income." Yes there are probably two or three individuals out of thousands that are actually make that type of income online in that given online business, but they are obviously not the norm. These couple of people pulling in that type of money treated it like a real business. They got up early and worked late into the evening, they set schedules and stuck to them. These few individuals invested a good amount of back office money into, auto-responders, magazine ads, online courses aimed at their business, pay per click ad campaigns, upgrading computer equipement, and so on. Simply put , to make a substantial income online, a person has to know they are going to have to invest a lot of time , and some above and beyond money, into their business. The average person doesn't get told this upfront and when they see all the time and work that is involved , they usually(99.9%) , say " Ah so what, I've only got $200 into this program, I'll just quit now before I get in any deeper and spend any more money." That person then usually a month or so later, sees something else that promise to be easier and do all the work for them, and then away they go again, chasing that elusive income online that we all want.
In closing, just because an online business only costs $49, or $149, or $500, doesnt mean that you can't make an impressive income online with it , it simply means that you are going to have to roll up your sleeves and get to doing some serious work. It can be done , but a person just needs to be told the truth up front that no business is automated. There is no magic button out there that will make you an income online , that button is called good ole fashiond hard work, and yes , working on a computer , building a business for 10 hours a day is work. As the old saying goes, If it were easy, everyone would be doing it.
Hello, my name is Troy Mullins, and I am a firm believer that there is no "magic button" to making an income online. The magic button is work and training. If a person is taught properly, then they can do anything. Education and Training is the key, period.

Crosslinking Techniques and an Income Online
Crosslinking techniques are the backbone of the internet, yet hardly anyone at all knows it. Have you ever wondered just how, when you type in a word or phrase in the google or yahoo browser, that the website got in the numer one position? How did all the others get there also? Did they pay to get there? If a person wants to make an income online, and they want to be able to maintain that status, they must first learn about crosslinking techniques.
I am going to use the typical work from home phrase, that is typed into google and yahoo over forty million times per day. That's right, people type in some derivitave of work from home, make an income online, home based business, etc... over forty million times, each and every day. The people that understand and use the proper crosslinking techniques are the people that are tapping into that customer base. In other words, they are the ones on that first page when you type in make an income online, make money online, etc...
Crosslinking, or spiderwebbing as it is called in some circles, is truly how the internet was built, and how it also rewards someone for their hard work. Lets take the phrase"I want to make an income online" for example. To begin a campaign using this as your keyword phrase ( that is the phrase that someone types into the google or yahoo search bar ), A person must obviously pick a keyword phrase and then begin to build a pertinent keyword campaign around that word or phrase. The people that you view as internet guru's, or online professionals, or whatever you want to call them, are super proficent at crosslinking, and more than likely, crosslinking has put them at the top of the industry, and given them a page one ranking.
There are many, many ways to spiderweb back to a keyword or keyword phrase, I'll give you a general overview of one way that it can be accomplished.
Lets take the income online keywords. First a person would get a domain name and have the words income online in that domain name. That person would then want to build a landing page for whatever program or product that they are promoting, centered around that keyword phrase. You would then use various avenues to crosslink back to your landing page.
Most, but not all marketers use a varied array of free tools to point back to their keyword and landing page. Some just use one or two.
A couple of examples are , building a blog page and enriching it with your keyword phrase, and when people go to read your blog, have a link in there back to your landing page(or capture page), you have then crosslinked your blog to your landing page or home website page.
Make a you-tube video and set up a you-tube channel with your keywords and links pointing back to your website.
You-tube is a great way to create crosslinks, because you can cross it to your blog, which then in turn links it to your website that you have centered around that keyword. In order to make a true income online, a person has to get pretty creative and use almost all the tools that the internet has to offer.
Writing articles and submitting them to article hubs is another great way to get the desired spiderweb effect. Once again, keyword enrich your article and submit it to as many article hubs as you want. You then take the article you have written and place it on your blog. Now look at this, you now have your you-tube video, and your article associated with your blog. Your blog is now Linked to you-tube and your article that you wrote, not to mention the content on your blog. As far as google and yahoo are concerned your keyword phrase is beginning to get links associated with your website, and that makes your site more relevant and valuable to google and yahoo.
Just as in any business, the more valuable you are to them, the more that business is willing to give you perks and assistance, and exposure. One hand washes the other as some would say. When you have begun to properly build a sufficent amount of links to your websites landing page, google and yahoo then begin to allow your site to rise in their ranks.
This is a very indepth subject, and I just gave a very bare bones description of crosslinking, but if a person gets enough links pointing back at their website, and ties it all together properly, then they can someday be the website in the number one position when someone types in their particular keyword phrase. That is how the guru's make their income online and believe it or not, that is what makes the internet what it is today.

Make An Income Online Using Landing Pages
We all begin this internet journey of making an income online in a different way, but in order to succeed there are many common threads that we all are tied to. One of those areas is that in order to effectively move a product or service , you need a custom landing page for people to "land on." Once you have joined an online business opportunity for the intent of making steady income online you must look at how you are going to get people interested in the product or service you are selling, and how to capture their attention. In other words you must figure out how you are going to market your product or service.
Part of knowing how you will market your product or service is to look at the tools the opportunity has available for you to market with.
A very large part of your tools, should include a landing page, an informational website (tour), a prewritten e-mail series, training tutorials and videos, and phone or email customer service. But most importantly a landing page is what is desired to really intensify your income online opportunity.
Some opportunities will provide all of these tools and some will only provide parts of them, or none of them leaving it up to you to develop them, and if you don't know how to develope them, then a good mentor or training tutorials are needed.
Almost all of the user friendly opportunities provide them, and that is their way of giving back to you for joining and to give you better tools from which both you and the opportunity make a steady income. Basically, the more the opportunity can help the new person, the more profitable you then become to the opportunity.
I will explain what a landing page is so that when you look for an online business opportunity you will know why it is important to find one that has a landing page included.Your landing page is the first page people go to once they have seen your marketing advertisement, ( how to market is covered in my previous articles ), the text written on your landing page serves to direct people to more information about your offer. Usually the landing page will direct them two directions, to your website with valuable information and by signing up one will receive a series of informational e-mails. Both directions are not necessary but are certainly the preffered method of the professional internet marketer. Remember, the more information and choices that you give the prospective person, the more of a chance that you have of creating a repoire, and making that sale. Making an income online is a lot like making a traditional sale, make a friend, make a sale.
You should use your landing page to direct your prospects to, because it is usually shorter and people can refer to it on the limited time they have. Shorter is better in this instance because most people don't have a lot of time and they are more inclined to read a shorter and to the point landing page and then click through to your longer informational website if they are interested. That is what you are trying to accomplish with a custom landing page, just get them to want more information on your product or service.
If you're one who joins a business opportunity that does not have a landing page then you will want to build one. Just make sure you research and find out how to build one, because if your landing page is not effectively written, then if it therefore does not pull in interested information seekers, then it's worthless, and you have spent a good deal of time on it, and you are not getting the desired results that you intended.
Regardless of whether your business opportunity offers a landing page as part of the package, or whether you must build your own, making a true income online is going to be quite a struggle without a properly done landing page.

Make An Income Online With Free Marketing
Let me set the record straight, right here and now, you do not have to spend a penny on marketing or advertising to make an income online. If you are told by anyone that you must spend money to market whatever business you are involved with, you can tell them that they are wrong, because I am about to give you some information on the facts.
I am not going to tell you that there is no work involved, because there is honestly a good amount of your spare time that a person will need to put toward to making an income online with free marketing. That is why it is free, that is why most people don't do it, that is why it is an open ballfield.
If you are willing to commit eight to ten hours a week in your spare time, you can honestly make a good income online with free types of advertising and marketing. ( give up 1 football game and a couple of shows a week and that should cover it ),sorry to be so blunt, but thats what seperates the dotcom. millionares from the rest of us. They are willing to go the extra mile, and most of us are not willing to give up our precious spare time to commit to making a living from home. Most people who attempt it, nearly always give up and fall by the wayside.
The main issue that most people have with free advertising is that it does take some time, but the tremendous upside is that you can make a substantial income online, and it doesn't have to cost you a dime , if it is approached properly.
There are many types of free advertising out there to help build your internet business. There are the classified ads that can be placed in Craigslist, and Backpage to name a couple. It only requires some elbow grease and a tight ad placement system to get it up and running. Placing ads in free online newspapers is quite effective and can bring in a nice income online if a person adheres to the rules and principles that are in place. To do free classified ads , a person must be diligent and be able to roll with the flow of the everchanging regulations that the classified industry comes up with, but for the ones who persevere, it can be a very profitable way to make an income online.
Another avenue of free marketing is, well, you are looking at it. Thats right , article marketing. It doesnt cost a person anything to write an article and post it to article hubs, just a little time and imagination. When a person posts to an article hub, it creates a link to their landing page , and if a person posts enough articles to enough hubs, it then begins to push your ranking up in the google search engine, and that basically translates into driving free traffic to your website. In case your new to this type of marketing, driving traffic is the beginning to making an income online.
There is another free way to drive people to your website and I'll bet you've heard of it, you-tube. It is free to set up an account and it is free to post your video. You don't need any high tech equipement, most digital cameras will allow you to make a three to five minute video. Just get over your fear of being in front of a camera, and making an income online with youtube is a reality, not to mention , it's actually kind of fun.
Blogs cost absolutely nothing. Anyone , and I do mean anyone can do blogs. A person can do several blogs on several different topics, but tie them together and point them to your website and you then have free traffic once again. When a person writes an aticle for an article hub, they can turn around and post that same article on their blog. That person has now crosslinked the two and, once again, helps to push up their google rankings.Content is king on the internet when it comes to making an income online, and free marketing is a way for anyone to make a their presence felt on the internet.

Mentorshship, A Must Have For Making An Income Online
Left out in the cold ? Did you just join an mlm, internet business, affiliate program, or something of this nature, and now you can't get anyone to talk to you, answer your questions, return your calls? Well your certainly not alone, I believe that one of the biggest reasons that people quit a program, or income online type business is because they get stuck, and they don't know where to turn for answers and help. Making an income online is a very large undertaking, and unless a person has been schooled properly, or has done these types of ventures before, they are very likely to get stuck at almost every turn. If you are trying to start a work from home type business, then it is a must that a person have a very good, patient mentor.
I believe that everyone has the best of intentions when they lay down their hard earned money to join a given program. They believe they are going to make their dream of earning an income online come true. Most people come shooting out of the starting gate with high hopes and big ideas, only to be confronted with a hurdle, or problem that they didn't see coming. If making an income online were easy, everyone would be doing it. The person who succeeds with an online type business, is the person who learns to overcome these hiccups, and bumps in the road, and unless you have a good, ethical, and available mentor, or training system in place, you are very liable to do what 99.9% of all people do, quit trying and go on to the next program hoping it will be easier and more fool proof.
My advice, do your complete due diligance on not only the business program that you are interested in, but mainly, take a good hard look at the mentorship provided, and the training system that is set in place for that given online business. Are there phone numbers that have real people on the other end? Is the person you are joining under available and responsive to your inquiries? Has your prospective sponsor been in the business long, and how are they doing at it? Are they really trying to move forward in their program, or are they just trying to sign people up and make a quick buck. I am a firm believer that before a person joins any type of income online producing program or business, that they need to pick up the phone and physically talk to someone and get their questions answered. That person should then step back, do more due diligance and then call their prospective sponsor with more questions. Is this prospective sponsor open to your questions, and earnestly trying to help you, or are they giving you quick, short answers, with a "let's get on with it" attitude? No one likes to be given the brush off, and remember this, we were all newbies in the beginning, and were it not for help and training from a good mentor or training program, we would still be new, and lost in this massive business called online marketing.
In closing, before you lay down your hard earned money on a business opportunity, look past all the pretty packaging and hype, and promises. Research it thoroughly and talk to someone more than once about it, get a better feel for your prospective sponsor and the training that is offered. If possible, get a look at the back office of the program, and see the nuts and bolts of how it helps you to progress in that given endeavor. Any mentor worth his or her salt, will be honest and up front, and let you know of the troubles and pitfalls that they themselves have endured and overcome in making an income online. If you find someone that tells you it is easy and that there is very little work involved, you should move on, because they are not being honest with you.Training is the key, and without a good, honest mentor, the proverbial newbie, probably will not get very far.

Understanding the Hidden Costs of making an Income Online
Hidden costs, they are one of the major reasons for a persons failure in almost any marketing venture undertaken in trying to make an income online. Most people take a look at a program , whether it be an mlm, network marketing business, gifting program, or affiliate program. It's a well known fact that most of us are impulse buyers. You get online, look at many different avenues of making an income online, and the average person will buy into the flashy websites promises of riches galore, they plop down their hard earned money and then get blindsided when they find out the immense amount of work that there is to creating an income online. Quite honestly, this is where 99.9% of people throw in the towel, and never go any further, and they then label that program, or business opportunity as a scam.
The truth of the matter is that the program they paid to get into probably isn't a scam, it just requires way more in participation, and out of pocket money to market the program, than the person originally thought. First and foremost, there is no magic button that you can press to become wealthy on the internet, that magic button is called good ole fashioned hard work, and honestly, being the lazy, complacent society that we have become, this is where almost all people give up and quit. There aren't many people out there that are willing to invest an hour before they go to work in the morning to their business, nor are they willing to put in two or three more hours after work into making that elusive income online from home. Some try for a day ,or even a week, and then usually put their new found business, that they paid good money for, on the back burner and it get's forgotten about. Unfortunatly this is the cold hard truth in the work from home industry.
Not only is the time needed to get your business up and going a daunting task for almost all people, there are also all the hidden costs. Obviously, not all programs are the same, but most all do have a common thread, and that being if you want to make an income online, you are going to have to market your business, and it usually involves unforseen expenses, that the new person just isn't aware of. There are many, many forms of free marketing avenues out there, but they require much more time to get them up and running than do the paid avenues, and once again, most people just are not willing to put in the extra effort entailed with free forms of marketing.
SEO companies charge an inordinate amount of money to move your business up the google search engines, some of them five thousand dollars or more, which almost no one can afford to do. Placing small ads in local papers and magazines can begin to add up quite quickly also. Most people quickly come to the realization that making an income online isn't nearly as easy as they thought it would be , and simply give up, basically throwing away the money they spent to get into the program that they thought would bring them riches.
If a person is planning on getting into a home based business, they should first do their due diligance on the program, and try to find a mentor that will help them every step of the way, and not leave them hanging after the person has paid to get into the business, and quite honestly that alone can be a pretty tough task. Making an income online is no different than starting a traditional business in that it will require a good amount of your spare time and also require determined effort in order to see your project through to the end. Lastly, just as a brick and mortar requires it, a home based business will also have the hidden costs of marketing the business, unfortunatly the money that the person spends to get into a program, will more than likely not be the last money they will spend if they want to see their project throught to the end.
Using You-Tube To Generate An Income Online
Have you ever thought of using youtube to promote your online business? Most people think of youtube as a means of entertainment, as a young persons website, or as a reference site or research area. Stuck on a video game, look on youtube.
Stuck at a given area on a term paper, look on youtube. Wanna laugh, wanna cry, wanna see crazy pranks and stunts, then once again, look on youtube. You can find just about any subject matter you would want to on thissite , but what about if you wanted to make an income online and build a business, then again I say youtube.
If you are trying to build an income online, and you are not using youtube as a means of driving traffic to your website, then you are missing a very intregal part of the puzzle. Google owns youtube, so youtube runs off of the same algorythms and the same premise as does google. Every time you post a youtube video, if you are using the proper techniques, then you can effectively have a directory of "links", pointing back to your landing page or website that most people don't know know exist. It is a very effective way to promote your website, and your business.
There is no wrong way to make a youtube video, let me say this again, there is NOT any wrong way to make a youtube video.I personally believe that if you have fun with this form of markrting, that it will show in your video, and if you are having a good time, the people watching will pick up on that, and it makes it more enjoyable for them to watch. There are obviously many, many, ways to drive traffic to a website, just as there are many ways to make an income online, but youtube is on of those ways that is overlooked by many network marketers.
Have you ever clicked onto a youtube video and watched a bad video ? Chances are you have, we all have, but we watched it till the end and said, wow , that was a bad video, but we watched it didn't we ? So suppose you put out a decent video on the business your promoting, number one, you are providing at least one link back to your main wedbsite, if you link it properly, and number two, you just might get a small following, which translates into traffic for your website, a win,win situation.
Keep in mind that youtube and google are on the same algorythms, so with the proper linking techniques, your traffic is driven back to google, and creating traffic for an online business is what it is all about. Creating an income online has many twists and turns that the saavy online marketer has to contend with, so every small step, no matter how small, is a step in the right direction.
In closing, youtube is way more than a channel to watch silly videos, dumb pranks, or to get info. on when your stuck on a video game, it is also a very profitable, and not to mention, fun way to get your business or website in front of millions of people, and did I mention that this is all free advertising. You dont pay a single penny to get your info. out to the youtube audience.
Remember there is no wrong or bad way to do a video, just have fun, and you just might be pleasantly surprised at the feedback you begin getting, good or bad, its all linking back to your website, which is the name of the game.

The IPC Staggered 3up - an Online Income
For many years, there has been a type of marketing out there, in mlm's and in internet marketing, known as the
2up system. For anyone that has either done mlm's in the past, or has looked at trying to make an income online,
you are more than likely aware of how these programs operate. As an example, I personally got involved with
Coastal Vacations about ten years ago, The entry fee at that time was $1,200.00 . That's a good chunk of change
for the average person, but that is not where you stop giving away your money, there's more. The way that all traditional
2up systems work is that after you have paid your money to your sponsor, you then owe him or her your first two recruits.
A typical persons first couple of sign-ups are usually their hardest, so not only do you pay the entry fee for yourself,
after your hard work of getting two people to hop on board with you,(in this example, thats $1,200 each),you dont see
a single penny of that money, because you have to pass these two up (hence the name 2up), to your sponsor that
you also have given your money to . At this point , your sponsor has made $3,600.00 , and you unfortunatly have made
absoultely nothing. At this point, honestly, most people have done a large amount of work and seen no income, It is quite
discouraging to most, and most people don't keep on going, hence they made someone else a good amount of income, but they are left with nothing in return.
Have you ever heard of the Staggered 3up Business Program? I didn't think so, So let me tell you a little about this ingenious
marketing system. It was created by the founder of the IPC Program, Dan Miller. Dan has been in the commercial side of
this industry for many years, and he has seen many, many programs come and go as we all have. He wanted to create an
online income business where there was no qualifying, and one that has long term residual income involved. What he created
was what he calls the staggered 3up business system.
If you recall , in a 2up, you pass up your first two sales to your sponsor. With the staggered 3up system, you keep your
first sale, your third sale, and your fifth sale. You are into income immedietly, instead of passing it all away. You do pass
your second, fourth, and sixth sale to your sponsor, but from that point on, everyone that joins you is yours and yours alone,
no more passing up sales.
Keep this in mind, every single person that enters your business, owes you their second, fourth, and sixth sale also.
If you take a good look at the income online that can be generated with this type of business, it can be quite impressive, if not staggering. For an example,If you personally got fifteen people involved in a staggered 3up business, and if all of them,( except
for your second, fourth, and sixth that you pass up ), each also signed up six people, they would pass a total of 36 people up to
you ! Depending on the price point of the particular program, for example lets say you are in a $200 program, this example
would be an income of $7,200.00 . Now, keep this in mind , this style of business does not stop there, it continues in this
fashion , ad nauseum. The income online that can be generated with this type of staggered 3up business plan is just simply
astounding. Put a pencil to it and see for yourself, you'll be quite impressed.
In closing, The IPC Business Program is a reliable online business model that has embracd this Staggered 3up system
with open arms, and I for one can say, I'm very glad it has.

IPC Program , Income Online Training
When a new person is looking on the internet for an online income opportunity, they quite often get wrapped up in all the pretty packaging and lofty promises that the programs landing page is offering them. Unfortunatly, that is about as far as most peoples research on that program goes, it's actually not much more than an impulse buy.
If a person is truly wanting to start an online businness, they should treat it , at least in the beginning, more like a brick and mortar business. Most people only assess the initial start up costs, and rarely pay attention to the underlying attributes of any given program. They don't do their due-dilligance on the market for the product, saturation principles, how long it has been around, how accessible are the mentors, and so on. But more importantly most people don't dig into information on accessibility to the admin., where is the help going to come from if they are having a problem, and most importantly, training and personal help.
I'm going to shoot from the hip here and say that the IPC Program probably has the best training and tutorial
system in the industry, Period. I have seen many online businesses, and most of it ends with the pretty packaging and promises that you get when you fork over your hard earned money in the beginning.
No program out there offers the one on one training and human contact that IPC does, and I honestly believe this.
there are hours upon hours of training tutorials in your IPC back office that cover everything from how to set up payment buttons, to how to effectively and earnestly earn an income online with almost all the free, and effective avenues that are available online.
The founder of the IPC Program, Dan MIller, Is a very, very, firm believer of free marketing, and he holds your hand and walks you every step of the way through the tutorials, and gives his many years of experience in a very detailed manner. No stone is left unturned , you are given explicit directions and details on how to become an effective online marketer.
Training and education are the fuel that will carry you along the learning curve. Again this is where the IPC designers went to the blueprint. When purchasing this program you are investing in a valuable education not a magic bullet.
I have not even touched on the optional training webinars that are held Mr. Miller. They are held twice weekly, and are an indesposable tool for creating a true income online. These webinars , which usually average 1 1/2 hrs. per session, are recorded in the members back office for them to use at any time, over and over again if necessary. There is currently 28 recorded webinars in the members back office, and Dan Miller shows no sign of slowing down on these, as there is another webinar tonight , and more to come weekly. These recorded webinars are the equivelant of a college course, taking you through every facet of online marketing, and Dan keeps them simple enough that anybody , regardless of online saavy, can follow along without any trouble whatsoever.
What about customer servive and support ?
Many of the more expensive work from home opportunities marketed online just don't meet the mark when it comes to offering support to its customers. Good luck making contact with almost any admin. dept.... this is a bold statement, but one that needs to be addressed. You will not be left alone with the IPC Program. Again, these lacking customer service issues were the all too common experiences, that became part of the inspiration for the IPC Program.
In a nutshell, The IPC Program was designed toTEACH a person how to make a substantial income online, not just promise a person that "magic bullet". That magic bullet is training, mentoring and guidance through the pitfalls of online marketing, and that is where the IPC Business Program stands head and shoulders above the rest.

The IPC Program, A Model For Direct Pay Businesses
If you have given any thought to having a stay at home business, then you have undoubtably seen many direct pay programs out there, and for good reason. Direct pay programs are just that, direct pay to you, instantly. The people that really understand how to tap into the power of a realistic, legit, direct pay program are making hundreds, and some thousands per day. This type of program provides what most are looking for, an income online that pays instantly and directly.
Why do most people get into this type of online marketing? Because there is no quicker way to get into profit than with this type of online business.
Unlike most online businesses, it doesn't take hundreds of sales to make a substantial living. And since you get paid directly by the person who is purchasing the product package from you, there is no waiting weeks, or longer, for a company to send you a check. Finding a realistic online business, that doesn't just sell you a product and forget you is a truly hard thing to find, they are few and far between, but they are out there. One such company that we have done our duediligance on is the Independent Profit Center,or IPC as most people online know it by.
With the IPC Program, however, there are no qualifications needed to get paid. Once you purchase the product package for $200 and pay the one time admin fee of $49 you are ready to go. In addition, most direct pay programs have a monthly admin fee that has to paid every single month. IPC Program does not have any ongoing admin fees that you would have to pay the IPC program. This is what makes the IPC business so attractive, the $200 product purchase is 100% commissionable and is paid directly to the person who is selling the package, hence the direct pay program, no waiting for your money.
Why are so many representitives in the IPC program being so successful? When a person purchases the software and ebook package for $200 they receive full resale rights to the package as well as full resale rights to each individual product in the package. This package has a retail value of $4,000. The back office that each person receives gives very easy step by step instructions on how to set up and promote their IPC Program business. Marketing training include topics like how to market with pay per click, solo ads, free classifieds, post cards, and print advertising; just to name a few. There is also the option of joining the twice weekly online seminars that are given by the admin dept. to help each and every person utilize the internet tools that are at their disposal. Dan Miller is the teacher in these webinars, and to say his teachings are thorough, would be quite the understatement.
I have found it is of immense important for people to do there duediligence when joining an online program like the IPC business. Be sure to contact the person who you are considering purchasing the package from and ask them some questions. That way you can see how responsive they are and how well they respond to the questions you ask.
One of the most important questions you can ask is "Are you willing to support me if I have any questions?" And then followed by "Why would you be willing to offer this support?"
The proper mentor would have no problem answering these types of questions, and giving the direction that is needed in this type of business. There are a few "tricks of the trade", that we all need to be shown, when we first venture into trying to make an income online, and a good mentor doesn't mind sharing.
Troy Mullins is an online business entrepreneur and involved with several successful online business opportunities. He is a sponsor, consultant and mentor for the IPC business opportunity.
